受此影響的姓還有“閭”、“律”。 原因：英文及電腦中無字母ü “呂”字的拼音，書面上正確的寫法應該是“lü”，護照上多見的有以下兩種拼法： LV，是一種計算機輸入法，是按照《漢語拼音方案的通用鍵盤表示規範》來寫的，因為電腦鍵盤上沒有韻母“ü”這個鍵，所以變通地採用“V”鍵代替。

LU，因為韻母“ü”沒有大寫形式，所以，在某些公共場合或者護照上，就用“U”代替。 但這兩種拼法各有問題：首先，漢語拼音里根本沒有“V”這個字母，LV這種拼法，讓一些不明就裏的人根本不會拼讀；而“LU”和魯、陸等拼音混淆在一起。

新規統一了關於字母ü的使用，規定全部用“YU”代替，其他拼音中帶有“ü”的字，比如“女”等字，也需要在填寫護照申請表時按照新的拼寫方法改寫。 影響：更改拼寫遇麻煩可辦加註 新規出台後，有呂姓網友開玩笑説，“咱以後不姓路易威登（LV為路易威登品牌英文縮寫）了”。

不過更多的網友提出疑慮，新的拼寫方式如與銀行卡等信息的拼寫方法不一致，會不會帶來麻煩？比如姓呂的人在辦理銀行卡、英語留學考試和機票訂購時，也有“LU”和“LV”混用的現象。 呂先生持有護照，上面打的姓是LU，但他持有的所有銀行卡的資料上全填寫的是LV。

“我如果出國，同時需要用信用卡，護照上的姓與卡上的是不相符的，遇到這種情況怎麼辦？”呂先生還有個疑慮，“我的護照沒有到期，還是LU，新的港澳通行證卻是LYU，這會不會影響以後的出行？” 另外，記者瞭解到，護照過期或者遺失需要補辦的，都按照新規執行。這樣一來，新舊護照的姓名拼法不統一，也可能給持證人帶來麻煩。

此次，公安部出入境管理局給出迴應：如確有需要，持照人可以向護照簽發機關申請辦理姓名加註，證明原姓名拼音曾使用LU或LV。 據悉，姓名“加註”就是在護照的備註頁面上，把原來“LU”、“LV”的拼寫方法做一個備註，這樣的話，幾種拼音方法都可以通用了，加註費用為20元。

網友們也互相提醒，今後網上在線申請信用卡或辦理其他證件時，都要按照新的拼寫規則填寫表格，另外，在辦理簽證、提供酒店和機票預訂單時也要注意統一姓名拼寫。
